Support the Mosaic Heart Centre

Mosaic's $2 million Donation

Through a lead donation of $2 million from The Mosaic Company, the Mosaic Heart Centre was established. As a result, a new Cardiac (Cath) Catheterization Lab was installed at the Regina General Hospital in 2007.

"What has made this investment close to home for us is that Mosaic employees and their family members have needed cutting-edge cardiac care. And that's what we've been able to help provide to all citizens of Saskatchewan through the Mosaic Heart Centre."
Norm Beug, Sr. Vice President, Potash Operations, Mosaic

Thanks to Mosaic's leadership gift and the strong support of our donors, the Mosaic Heart Centre is recognized as a provincial cardiac centre of excellence.

Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation's $1.25 million Donation

In 2009, the Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation made a $1.25 million commitment to support an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab at the Mosaic Heart Centre.

EP deals with potentially life-threatening problems relating to the heart's electrical activity, which is responsible for making the heart beat. The new Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation EP Lab, expected to be completed in the fall of 2010, will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating many people from across southern Saskatchewan with an abnormal heartbeat.

"Thanks to the many donations received at Telemiracle, the Kinsmen Foundation is able to continue making miracles for the people of Saskatchewan and their families."
Charlene Duckworth, Board Chair, the Kinsmen Foundation
