April 5, 2017, Regina, SK – Hospitals of Regina Foundation (HRF) provided hundreds of onlookers with a glimpse into its upcoming Four Seasons Ball today by hosting a glamourous sneak peek event at Regina’s Cornwall Centre.
The colourful awareness event, held at centre court, featured black-tie props along with four seasons dancers, a live jazz trio and giveaways for patrons.
“The Four Seasons Ball will be a truly memorable experience, unlike any other charitable event our community has ever seen,” says Dino Sophocleous, president and CEO. “Today’s sneak peek is about building on that excitement and inviting our family members, friends and neighbours to help us change the future of children’s health care in our community.”
Every year, Regina hospitals see more than 2,200 inpatient pediatric cases from viral infections and broken bones to acute sickness and chronic diseases. Another 5,000 children are seen in our outpatient program, while the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre has more than 17,000 pediatric visits per year.
The inaugural Four Seasons Ball, proudly presented by GMS (Group Medical Services), will bring the community together for one unforgettable evening in support of Regina’s Pediatric Services. Taking place June 3 at the Conexus Arts Centre, it will be a magnificent black-tie event featuring a six-course gourmet dinner, unique performers, dance-worthy music, and entertainment from legendary performer and feature entertainer Martin Short.
“We want to continue building a world-class pediatrics program, so children across southern Saskatchewan have access to specialized health care when they need it most,” he says. “Through our Four Seasons Ball and the generous support of our community, we will support pediatric initiatives that will help to create better lives and promising futures for our children.”
